1--Pray for us!
Matthew 18:20 says that "For where two or three or gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."
Pray that we will patiently endure the long, costly, and arduous process of just getting the mountain of paperwork completed.
Pray that someone will give our children a hug today and that they will be in a safe place where there is no abuse or neglect.
Pray that they will have enough food to fill their tummies and that they will not be hungry as Ethiopia is experiencing a famine due to the drought.
Pray for many people to step up and be a support system for Chris, Evienne, Elianna, and me during this adoption process.
2--Tell us your fabulous fundraiser ideas!
Yes, international adoption is expensive. No, we don't have an extra $35,000 sitting in a bank account somewhere, BUT we are children of the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, so what's $35k to Him? We are certain He will provide for what He has called us to do, and we invite you to take part in this with us. (And we are already seeing Him open doors!) How can you be the hands and feet of Jesus? Can you volunteer your ideas, your talents, your time, your organizational skills, your money? It'll take a village!
3--Sign up for a girls' night out by hosting a Cake Pop Party/Class!
This can be a simple gathering of your friends and family, and you can have it at your home or even at your office or church. The point of the party is getting together for a fun time with your friends and supporting an adoptive family while learning how to make Cake Pops...the most popular dessert at any party! The class fee is $35 per person, and each person brings their own supplies. Some people share a cake so that they aren't taking home 40something pops ;) Contact me for more details!
